Goblin Cleanup

This game is riddled with weird bugs. I haven't been able to finish a singular thing because:

• The mimic will kill you if you get too close, so you have to extend your pike and let it eat the thing from a safe distance only the pike gets stuck so you can't either pinch OR offer anything (I found out that if you don't want for the Mimic's chomping motion to stop, it will still eat another piece of meat but your pike will get stuck and make it impossible for you to stab, forcing a restart).
• The tutorial is unnecessary in more ways than one: the book is badly made, too much text. The bullet point list you have on the right makes you feel like you're in a weird quest-based RPG rather than a maid cleaning a dungeon.
• No feedback on when the Mimic's done guzzling up meat.
• No feedback on how close you can brush against a Mimic before it literally insta-kills you.
• The slimes are okay but I think using them as mops makes little sense in a dungeon - slimes are generally sticky and corrosive. Beats me why I'd use one to clean up. It's a cute idea, sure, but I don't like using an animated 'cutesy' thing that I have to kill near constantly to mop up the floor.

The idea is cool, but it's... kind done with two left feet for now.

It's hard to find a proper video to share for this game because the dev's YouTube account is set to prevent embedded playback. Anyway, this seems well made, but if I'm being honest, I don't really get the appeal. I suppose this is the fantasy riff on the Viscera Cleanup Detail that was popular a few years back. If you like high fantasy and Viscera Cleanup Detail this is probably for you.
