CATO: Buttered Cat

Puzzle platformer with some other pleasant surprises mixed in.

This is a game about a cat and a buttered toast teaming up to defy physics. There is a "meow" button. That by itself should be enough information to know if you'll like this game.

I was definitely having fun, but after a while the puzzles become a bit too same-y, not entirely repetitive but not mixing in enough new ideas, I think. The game is also often a little too easy which makes it feel more like busywork. There are puzzles I got stuck on for a while, and I found hard to reason about them. So with all that it kind of didn't quite scratch neither the puzzle itch nor the platformer itch. I got kinda disinterested after about 4 hours, I think roughly halfway through. On the plus side it's easy to come back to after a while and do a few more rooms or search for secrets, and no-one is forcing you to play a game for longer than you enjoy it anyway, I'd hope.
