At its core, Age of History 3 is a clicker game... BUT... it did scratch that grand strategy itch for me while not overwhelming me with countless mechanics. The game lacks some QoL features, the UI could've been better, it'd be nicer if I didn't have to watch a YouTube video in order to learn how to play it, and there are some bugs that screw up some of the numbers between your sessions, but I had a blast all the same. Seeing my small country turn into a powerhouse was so satisfying. Considering the fact that it was developed by a single person, I'd say it's worth playing despite the shortcomings.
