Setting this down after beating every grand prix at sonic speed against level 10 rivals.

Look this is a very fun game, and arguably one of (if not the) best kart racing games of all time. And normally I would give it like 4 stars due to just being fun to play and beautifully made.

But it's hard to justify that for one main reason: the cost. This is a ridiculously expensive game and the DLC (which is just a few maps and characters) is another charge that feels so unnecessary.

And for me, this is ends up being more of a drastic issue cause it basically removed what's really fun about these games from my experience: playing with friends. Cause it is basically impossible to convince a friend to drop like $60 on a kart racing game they might only play for a week or two, let alone multiple friends to really get the full experience.

Like I understand they're looking at Mario Kart when it comes to pricing but that's a separate market imo. The target audience for this game is one used to cheap games, deals, etc. not one happy to shell out a bunch of money for a game like this.

Idk maybe I'm just ranting too much and everyone's broke losers or whatever, but I just feel like if this game were $20-30 it would have gotten a much bigger audience and made it a lot easier for people to actually play with each other and enjoy this experience. As it stands I see this dying pretty early aside from the occasional local coop matches people may have. (But I might be completely wrong)
