Google Earth VR

Discovering the existence of an experience like Google Earth VR was really exciting. The idea of walking around the streets of Tokyo (or wherever you'd like) was really appealing to me. I could explore the world from the confines of my living room.

You can see Earth from space, have a bird's eye view of the landscape, or walk in street view. The street view option is equivalent to that found on Google Maps but in VR. I wish there was a way to make the "walking" smoother with more freedom. The game also offers a few "cinematic tours" but I don't know if I ever used them.

Unfortunately this game is no longer supported and hasn't received an update in many years, so this is what you get. I think it's a great free VR experience that I want more from.

I love Tokyo Tower, especially after my fiance proposed to me at the tippy top. We went up as partners and came back down as life partners. <3
