The reason this is gold is because it features Proto Man. Play the game. Anyway, we're onto MM5 now, big whoop. The controls are incredibly receptive, yada yada yada, I think some of the late game bosses are very interesting and memorable (which is surprising as I always forget this game exists) The Robot Masters are easily some of the weakest in the series (Well except for Gyro, Napalm, and Star Man, who I'll get to later). I think the Mega Buster finally gets good this game, the animation is much more satisfying, and it has a nice feel to it. I think the Proto Man storyline is intriguing, especially with theDark Man boss fight. The gameplay feels crisp, and the stage designs are cool (as expected of a Mega Man game). So anyway, Star Man's cool as fuck, Metall Mommies can kiss my ass, Go play this game. (reviewed on legacy collection for switch)
