This head-to-head puzzle game tasks players with clearing their grid of falling pieces, known as puyos, by arranging four or more of the same colour into straight lines or other recognised patterns. Its competitive element comes from the fact that clearing puyos sends random filler pieces to the opponent’s grid. Larger clears generate more filler, increasing the pressure on the opposing player. A round is won by filling the opponent’s grid to the top. The game also includes a light narrative framework for solo or multiplayer play.

our epic review of Puyo Puyo 2
This review is for the Nintendo Switch version

Lana: Puyo puyo is fun but gets stale quick in my opinion. Was really fun to beat Rodrigo over and over again tho heheheheh. I didn't really get the different modes, they sometimes barely seemed to make a difference, 7/10

Rodrigo: not that different from the most recent game except for NO SONIC??? >:( still fun tho ngl im still shit at it tho 6.9/10

(almost broke my switch thank u vm lana)

After 56 continues, I finally managed to beat Puyo Puyo 2 Arcade version on normal mode, with half of those deaths stemming from loosing to Satan. To hell with him, I say!

Fun game and another one off the backlog pile :D That was unexpectedly difficult, even with normal CPU and "easy" story mode. Probably because I struggle to visualize anything past 2 or 3 combos at a time ;w;

...yeah, there's no way I'm going back to challenge the best/true ending. Absolutely not. Spoiler: Masked Satan is Satan, btw. G A S P!
