this game is fucking great playing with friends. legitimately hours of laughs to be had here. what the fuck even is this.
Super Sonic Racing
Sonic R is wonky but fun. It boasts a great soundtrack and a cast of racers with their own distinct abilities such as Knuckles being able to glide, etc.
You can find your own creative shortcuts through a lot of the races but the real challenge and meat of the game is finding the collectibles and still coming in first in a race to unlock the hidden characters.
It's not going to have long term appeal due to being more than a bit unbalanced but it was a very fun experience to me for it's goofiness, soundtrack, and challenges to unlock everything.
Played via Sonic Gems Collection on Gamecube

Final Thoughts: Oh my god this game is so bad in many ways it's like a 1/10 game saved by a godly 11/10 soundtrack apparently. Giving this game 3 stars for the soundtrack alone. Worth a quick playthrough just for the soundtrack / memes.
