Out of Pocket

SP

Side Pocket is playable on a bunch of consoles. NES, GameGear, Game Boy, Mega Drive and the one I played, on the Super Nintendo. It's way too hard right out the gate. You get a target score to aim for and to pass the level you have to knock down all your balls consecutively and in numbered order.

Data East did a fine job with graphics and music and overall feel and atmosphere. It's a relaxed pool game where you also can play against a friend, or practise trick shots, or go compete all over the United States for the coveted trophy. You drive/fly from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, S.F to New York and then off to Atlantic City for the finals. I just love SNES games and this is a fine title, but nothing special - and way too short. Expensive at the time in '93, and a lot of dads bought this one for their kids. (themselves).
