Preliminary: I can't deny the Look and Feel of the Splatterhouse games, even if Brawlers have never been something I enjoy. The gameplay in this one feels a bit dull since so little had changed from the prior one, but the Look and Feel continue to make it interesting enough to push through.
Unfortunately, the frustrating level design of Stage 4 got me to call it quits. Already before that stage, I was bemoaning the terrible platforming and clunky slow movement of the character, but the gore and absurdity got me to push through. Even through the chainsaw, pruner, and grotesque babies boss lol. But it's time to move on
