Graphically, the game looks pretty good. Control has some issues, but nothing critical. The new enemies look strange and often illogical. Most of them are insect-like creatures. The game has several story campaigns that differ significantly in style. At some point they all intersect. Events take place in chronological order. Terrorist acts of bio-terrorists led to a series of events. The game has new characters with their own story, which will develop during the game. Sometimes it develops very slowly. The plot has both interesting moments and rather stupid ones. Not the worst part of the Resident Evil series, but it has many flaws.

I feel sad for giving this game a 2-star rating. Overall production quality is really good, and I appreciate the attention to detail. They've even designed a different UI for every chapter. I feel sad for giving this game a 2-star rating. Overall production quality is really good, and I appreciate the attention to detail. They've even designed a different UI for every chapter. The environment is varied, textures are realistic enough, characters, animations, weapons... everything looks really good. Maybe the lighting could've been better because sometimes it becomes too dark to notice objects. Even though some interactive ones like levers and switches are made ridiculously big.
Sadly the gameplay is not very enjoyable because of poorly made Uncharted-like sections, disorienting camera angles, quick-time events, not so fair checkpoint system, and tedious -sometimes hard to figure out- puzzles. I played Leon and Chris chapters with my friend and wanted to finish the remaining ones but finally gave up during Ada Wong's campaign because of one of those weird puzzles.
The fact that the game's divided into 4 chapters with different characters seems like an interesting take at first, but after playing the first -and probably what's considered the main- chapter, I didn't really care about other characters which would fill up the story's details. The story's not really interesting anyway, except for the series' longtime fans probably.
By the way, I recently learned that Ada Wong's campaign was a solo experience originally, then they've added a co-op option with an update. Now it kinda makes sense why my friend couldn't press any button during the campaign, and why he's magically teleported whenever I do the Batman thing. He's only allowed to shoot and kill. I even thought if he was Ada Wong's imagination since he was like a ghost.
Leon-ardo "DiCaprio" Kennedy is a one-liner machine, spitting out one after another relentlessly. Now I'm scared to play the highly praised RE4. Is he always been like this?
