Resident Evil 6 is the ninth video game installment in the Resident Evil series. It continues the struggle against zombies infected by the new highly virulent C-virus. The game uses the same over-the-shoulder view as Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, however with a new gameplay mechanic that allows players to slowly move while shoot. Players can select between three scenarios featuring multiple characters and intertwined storylines, and within these scenarios both stories and action cross paths. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay. Just finished the last main campaign. Ada's story is by far the best, most true-to-Resident-Evil of the stories. In other words, it was a bit more tame and traditional, relatively speaking. Anyway, a good way to finish a game which I started feeling very disgusted at, but I learned to appreciate the storyline and overall sequence.

Playing this now. I began playing this thing several months ago and did not until recently get back into it at a decent pace. I pretty much decided to pick up from Jake's campaign which I started before, then Leon's, then Chris' and started getting an understanding how the stories of the characters were related. Right now I'm on Ada's campaign.

Initially, I hated the game with a passion due to the new controls, new feel, and just overall gameplay. But I've grown to appreciate the fact that at least they kept a related story line in it, and that it's canon after all. So I'm just bearing with it and hope to move on shortly..
