I've been on a Dr. Mario kick lately and I've been playing the heck out of the N64 version via Switch. It is SO hard. And to unlock characters you have to play thru story mode without losing once??? What the heck? How on earth would you be able to do this without save states? Luckily I was able to finally unlock normal, but only after I played through story mode once but kept on hitting redo and learned that lesson the hard way. I'm trying to play these N64 games as they were intended and not use the switch features, but they make it so hard.

I'm trying to decide if Dr. Mario is my second-favorite puzzle game after Tetris. It's definitely Top 5 for sure. But not sure if I can place it that high. Maybe Picross would be number 2? Yeah, I think so. So maybe it would be number 3. It's amazing how much strategy you can put into three colors.

It's Dr. Mario, but now with a 4-player mode. It's fine. NEXT!
