Glorious

Gloriously violent video game that gets everything right that Double Dragon got wrong. My only complaint is that the game is something of a coin guzzler and gets brutally unfair later on.

The group consists of the leader Berserker, who wears blue and has average speed and strength; Bullova, who wears yellow and is strong but slow; and Blitz, who wears red and is fast but weak. The fourth member of their group is Martha Splatterhead, gang leader M. He is captured by Blaster and turns evil. The gameplay is as follows.in this game consisting of 6 sections, you are trying to kill the enemies and cross the section. The music of the game is beautiful. If you are not too obsessed with graphics and you like retro games, this game is for you.My rating for the game: 10/10 (y) Good games to everyone 🙂

A generic beat em up title

Double Dragon is one of the all-time greats; The Combatribes, on the other hand, is everything Double Dragon was not. The best thing about The Combatribes is how it looks. The Sprites are huge, the characters look detailed, and the stages are colorful. Unfortunately, everything else about The Combatribes is bland and repetitive. Yes, there is some challenge in this …

Yes, there is some challenge in this game, but it mostly feels like a button masher. The Combatribes is as generic as it gets.

Beat on Hard as Berserker. I regret not playing on Normal because this was not a good game. Simplistic 2 button controls with only punch, kick and move. No block, jump or special moves. I did like the context attacks against prone enemies but the only one really worth doing is the pick up and spin around. The basic combat was reasonably fun but the level design sucks. Fight 1 group of enemies, then the next screen has the boss; level complete. Repeat for 4 levels. Level 5 was a boss gauntlet followed by a regular fight and then a new boss. Bosses were tough and took a few tries each to figure out. The sledgehammer boss was the 2nd hardest as I could not figure out a reliable way to fight him, so I just used up my continues. The final boss was absolutely ridiculous with her speed and cheap attacks. Beating her was a tedious process involving slowing the game down, saving state before and after every successful attack and baiting her into an attack so I could hit her once before moving away.
