Mortal Kombat: Armageddon brags a roster of 62 characters and sees the return of classic ones from the original Mortal Kombat, such as Reptile, Shang Tsung and Goro. The enhanced Konquest mode (story/adventure mode) improves over the preceding versions, but has a shorter length. There are now 64 arenas (including revamped versions of classic environments) which each have their own tweaks, such as the ridiculous amount of stage fatalities (fatalities are a fancy way of killing your opponent, including classic techniques such as the "spine-rip" or "arm-break").

To save the kingdoms, the elder God Argus builds a pyramid in which the battle will take place, and introduces both Delia's sons Taven and Daegon to the sleeping States in underground caves. Delia orders Elemental Blaze to signal her dragons to wake them up just before the final battle begins. In the future, Taven is said to have been awakened by his dragon Orin from Earthrealm and he and Daegon will compete against each other in their quest. Wanting to talk to his father, Taven teleports to their father's temple and fights several members of the black dragon as well as the mysterious red warriors, only to leave him. He eventually finds a message sent to him and Daegon by Argus stating that they will compete to take his place as an elder god by defeating Blaze, and lays down weapons for each of them. When Cyprus Villages finds both weapons missing, they are knocked unconscious by a multiple Sektor. Despite being imprisoned on the Tekunin warship, Taven manages to free himself and defeat Sektor before returning to Orin's portal. Taven then goes to their mother's temple in the mountains, where he left armor for daegon and himself. Upon reaching the temple, Taven finds it occupied by the lin Kuei and is forced to fight Frost and his assassins, including their grandmaster Sub-Zero. Later defeated, Taven takes his armor and is soon attacked by the Dark Lin Kuei. Together with Sub-Zero, Taven defeats the attackers after fighting both Smoke and Noob Saibot. For Taven's help, Sub-Zero reveals the identity of the mysterious warriors who attacked him as the Red Dragon and that they are outside the charred mountain. After traveling through the portal, he is forced to fight Fujin when Taven later warns him to return to Edenia. Taven reluctantly defeats the wind god and proceeds to the Red Dragon castle, where he finds Daegon, who is now much older. Despite the reunion, Daegon finds himself the leader of the Red dragon and reveals his intention to kill Taven in order to Decimate Blaze first. Taven then fights several enemies and eventually finds Caro, Daegon's dragon, who is imprisoned and experimenting on him. Upon his release, Caro reveals that he woke Daegon earlier than planned, causing Daegon to search for and kill Argus and Delia after learning the true nature of the rivalry. Hoping to make amends for her mistake, Caro informs Taven that Daegon has gone to the Nether realm and stayed behind to destroy the Red Dragon castle. Arriving in the Nether realm, Taven is ambushed by Drachmin before realizing that Shinnok has been attacked by Li Mei. Taven, still believing that he is an elder God, comes to Shinnok's defense and is then tasked with helping him reclaim his tower in exchange for answers as to Daegon's whereabouts. After defeating Taven havik, Sheeva, and Kintaro, Shinnok reclaims his throne and informs Taven that Daegon has returned to Earthrealm and transported him there. However, it turns out that Shinnok actually helped Daegon and informed the other fighters of the prize of competitions to eliminate all rivals. Upon returning to Orin's cave, Taven finds that he has been mortally wounded by Quan Chi's attack. Orin, who is on the verge of death, keeps the portal to Quan Chi open so that Taven does not get trapped in the cave with him. Vowing revenge, Taven passes through the portal and arrives at Shao Khan's palace in Outworld. After reaching the palace dungeons, Taven fights and defeats mileena and comes across the captive Shunjinko, who informs him about a meeting that took place in the throne room of Shao Khan. After fighting with Goro and Reiko, Taven, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Onaga and Shao Khan reaches a meeting between themselves and the pyramid of Argus contests have prizes here before moving into an alliance to agree to. Before he can follow up, however, Taven is confronted by Raiden, who reveals that he made a deal with Shao Khan to help him in exchange for Earthrealm's independence. Shocked at Raiden's betrayal, Taven defeats him before taking Quan Chi's Portal to Edenia. After passing through the portal, Taven fights and defeats Scorpio before confronting Daegon. However, before they can fight, they are interrupted by Blaze, who informs them that the competition has broken down and they are fighting in the wrong place. Transported to the edge of the crater, Taven and Daegon engage in a final battel with taven, who eventually kills Daegon. Frustrated with this mission, Taven refuses to go any further until Blaze reveals the true nature of this mission. With all the fighters participating in Mortal Kombat in the crater, Blaze reveals that it will be the epicenter of the apocalypse unless the mission is fulfilled. Since their own armor is the catalysts for these results, only Taven and Daegon mean to defeat Blaze with one of the two consequences that arise depending on which brother completes the task first, and either destroy all the warriors, or deprive them of strength and abilities. Reclaiming his sword from his fallen brother, Taven passes through a portal to confront Blaze. After fighting their way to the top of the pyramid, Taven fights back and defeats Blaze. In a non-canonical ending, elemental's death leads Taven to full godhood, but it does not bring any solutions and instead increases the power of the warriors. Taven vows to use his new status as an elder god to fend off Armageddon until a solution is found. The gameplay is as follows.there are 4 game modes.Kombat: This is the game mode in which you play one or two people.Create a Fighter: Create a character for yourself in this game mode and use it you are playing.Konquest: This is the story mode of the game.Motor Kombat:Car racing is the game mode in which you do.The music of the game is beautiful. If you are not too obsessed with graphics and you like retro games, this game is for you.My rating for the game: 10/10 (y) Good games to everyone 🙂
