Enjoyed this a lot. A beat-em-up, RPG, Metroidvania that's a ton of fun. I honestly think a lot of how I perceive the MK characters, relationships, and story comes from this game. Wish they continued this as a sub-series. I remember having a ton of fun playing this in Co-op as a kid. Replaying it as an adult, I appreciate that the characters play so differently from each other, but it's a bit annoying that you can't 100% it if you play solo. Really fun getting stronger whether through unlocking movement abilities or using EXP to upgrade combos and moves. Aiming is a bit of a pain, but I can forgive it since it's 20 years old.
