Virtua Insanity

enter image description here This game really isn't that good in my opinion. The possibility of being KO'd because you were out of bounds is a neat idea, but is pretty half baked in the game, the AI can easily just win by pushing you into a corner, and you can easily speedrun the game by just throwing enemies off the ledge. It doesn't make for a very fun experience. The graphics are alright, they do the job. The character designs are generic, it feels too much like a street fighter clone than something original, at least in my book. I feel like with a better moveset and better controls it would play a lot better, but I just didn't enjoy it. Still prefer the Genesis graphics to the arcade ones, yuck. Those polygons are so sharp they could kill someone. I'm giving this game a 4/10 'meh' rating for feeling half baked and too generic, especially in a world with unique fighting games, this just isn't up to snuff.

V1CGaming's review of Virtua Fighter 2

Classic Virtua Fighter right here. This is a game where you are going to have to put time into to become good at it. It's a punishing game, and the neutral is thick and ripe with depth that the series prides itself on. This game wrote the book on how to be a strong, deep and downright fun 3D fighter. If you want a classic 3D fighting game experience, this one is a timeless legend.
