Like its predecessors, Tomb Raider: Chronicles is an action game with puzzle-solving and platforming elements. The gameplay is very similar to that of the previous games, with the addition of a few new skills. Lara can now walk on tightropes, swing on horizontal bars, and somersault forwards from a ledge while crouching. A grappling hook has been added to her inventory. The game also includes a level editor, allowing the player to create new stages for Lara to explore. Read less

Tomb raider Chronicles is a 2000 action, adventure and platform game.Core Designing, the game's producer, and Eidos Interactive, who are distributing the game, have done a great job.The story of the game is as follows. After the events of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Lara Croft is presumed to be buried under the collapsed great pyramid of Giza. At Lara's home in Croft Manor, three old friends and associates—Lara's butler Winston, Father Patrick Dunstan and Charles Kane—reminisce about some of Lara's early exploits after a memorial service. The first story follows Lara's quest into the Roman catacombs to find the philosopher's stone. He is pursued by Larson Conway and Pierre DuPont, Enemies he would later encounter during the events of Tomb Raider. The second story, told by Kane, sees Lara hunting for the Spear of destiny, which has been lost on the ocean floor since the Second World War. Infiltrating Zapadnaya Litsa, he sneaks aboard a Russian Naval submarine under the command of Admiral Yarofev and his mafia handler Sergei Mikhailov. Lara recovers the Spear, but is ambushed by Mikhailov. The power of the spear was released, killing Mikhailov, damaging the submarine and wounding Yarofev. Lara escapes from the submarine, but Yarofev stays behind while the spear destroys the submarine. The third story, told by Dunstan, follows the young Lara when she secretly follows Dunstan to an island haunted by demonic forces. Lara confronts various ghosts and monsters inhabiting the island, including an Equestrian humanoid Demon named Vladimir Kaleta, who is trapped in a water prison run by the island's former monastic community. Dunstan is taken hostage by Kaleta, who forces Lara to block the River that imprisons him. Using a book found in the library of the destroyed monastery, Lara calls Kaleta's Demon name "Verdelet", takes control of her and banishes her from Earth. The fourth story about Winston shows Lara's former mentor Werner Von Croy Infiltrating the corporate headquarters and Decapitating iris, which first caused the split between Lara and Von Croy. Their story is complete, three toasts Lara. In parallel with these events, Von Croy is digging through the rubble of the great pyramid in a desperate attempt to find him. He eventually discovers Lara's backpack among the ruins of the great pyramid, but there is no trace of her body: "We found her! Decapitate her!"Assuming Lara is alive. The gameplay is as follows.in this game, which consists of 4 parts and 13 parts, you are trying to complete the tasks. The music of the game is beautiful. The graphics of the game are not bad.My rating for the game: 10/10 (y) Good games to everyone 🙂

Finally completed. Those last levels were terrible. I just wanted it to end. Now time to look at TR6.

Been playing for several months. Almost near the end. I just hope the next one doesn't have ropes.

Rollercoaster

You could almost think, that the episodes in this game were made by different studios. Some of them are quite bad and literally broken while one specific episode is just outstandingly well done. What a weird game but nonetheless worth playing.
