The objective of the game is to save a person trapped in a burning building. In order to do so you have to extinguish the fire with your fire hose. To complicate matters further the fire will spread to the next floors and you only have a limited water supply. After extinguishing the fire you have to allign the ladder of your fire truck to the floor where the person is on so that he can climb to safety. In subsequnt levels the building has fewer floors resulting in a higher difficulty level.

Cool Concept, But Just Not That Fun To Play
This review is for the Atari 2600 version

Look: 6/10 I like the water stream, the engine, and the building. Still meh all around tho. enter image description here

Play: 5/10 The manual/some info. At first I was kinda meh about the game just because I didn't understand what I was doing, but of course the manual helped with that. Still, it didn't have that "umph" to get me to push through and play it at length. I played around with the water stream (the most fun part heh), but didn't even finish a single "level." Not really my thing--I prefer Towering Inferno over this.

Feel: 6/10 It's not so much that it's bad and maybe I should give it another try, but it just didn't click with me. Meh, moving on. I did give it a little boost because I respect it, could potentially like it if the gameplay were more my thing, and I like firefighter-themed games.

Attachment: 5/10 Not bad, but skippable IMO.
