Beat on Hard. At the path split I beat the net guy instead of going through the jail; not worth playing again to see what that is like. For some reason, my emulator did not play any sound outside of the intro. It also locked up half of the time at the map between stages. I used mostly jump kicks to knock down multiple enemies and then use the normal sword attack on solo enemies, often waiting for them to attack 1st so I could block. The overall combat was pretty good with using the different abilities tactically, but it made no sense for a warrior to be jumping around that much, nevermind how superhuman his jumping abilities were. I would have preferred much more focus on using a variety of sword techniques mapped to different buttons with the main challenge being choosing the optimal button for the situation and timing. The cavemen were the most difficult enemy for me because their jump charge could interrupt a jump kick. Swordsmen and skeletons were annoying due to their tendency to block. The cavemen were the most difficult enemy for me because their jump charge could interrupt a jump kick. Swordsmen and skeletons were annoying due to their tendency to block. I did not like the bosses due to the extreme emphasis on having to jump kick them so much and how many attacks could not be blocked. The barrel boss with the ridiculous concept of using a barrel as a weapon, the staff guy with the jump kick and how much he blocks, and the dragon with the seemingly unavoidable dive. But it was cool when you could actually block attacks and try to time your attacks between that.
