Beat on normal. I bee lined for the homing shot, knowing how useful that would be. After a couple of levels I tried out all the other weapons and stuck with homing for the entire game. 2nd last boss in the final level had a counter for the homing by way of an indestructible ball that attracted most shots to it. That boss was thus a pain and took a long time to beat. The final boss was extremely hard to the point that I had to slow the game to 20 frames per second. I mostly used the satellite option of orbiting my ship until I learned that there was a 4th mode where they go seek enemies on their own. That was awesome and I liked sending them into the face of a boss.

Pretty good game. I liked the variety in weapons and how you can switch them between levels. I also liked the variety of modes for the satellite options that can be changed in the fly. Both give impressive tactical depth and decent replayability. I could see playing again with different weapons.
