Forty years later, Track & Field is still a blast. So easy to get into, immediately fun, it lets you know very quickly that you’re not good enough, your timing is not good enough, your rhythm is not good enough. But still, you can’t stop trying. Visually it aged really well and, as usual, not having to spend millions in coins to train makes it so much more enjoyable. Compared to everything that came after, its very limited in terms of multiplayer, but its also probably unmatched in terms of charisma.
It's Fun. The Challenge is Fun, Easy to understand, But it doesn't feel like a Game for a NES Console.
This breaths "Arcade". It feels like it's made to munch quarters more than mashing buttons. Still, it had some good content and fun to play.

Track & Field turns out to be a pretty good idea. The different events makes for a somewhat varied collection of mini games, best enjoyed against a friend, next to you on the couch. Most of the games are button mashers, but Javelin is fun, long jump is pretty cool, and I gave Robin Hood a run for his money when it came to Archery. I never had this as a kid, but I had T&F2. Coming up next.
