There's a lot of jank here, especially with all of the puzzles about freezing monsters with the Ice spell and putting them on switches. The hit detection is questionable and sometimes the bosses just hump you and drain your health. The hit detection is questionable and sometimes the bosses just hump you and drain your health. Despite those flaws, this game has so much retro charm and while it's a spinoff of Final Fantasy, I'm glad that this series became something more. I'm excited to try out Secret of Mana next.

Beat 2x so far. The Zelda clone/Secret of Mana predecessor. Remember when playing again: 1)it's a bit buggy, especially where enemy movements are concerned, and 2)buy enough keys before a dungeon or the game can be rendered unwinnable!
