Mostly Glitchy And Borderline Bad, But A Neat UI And ARPG Hook Helps

Preliminary: Oh boy another Jajamaru game in a genre I find very hard to not finish -- action-adventure. And with role-playing elements no less! I like the yo yo weapon lol, the first few areas' music was not good, but I love this first castle/dungeon type place's music. It's hypey. Overall, though, quite mediocre so far. I like the yo yo weapon lol, the first few areas' music was not good, but I love this first castle/dungeon type place's music. It's hypey. Overall, though, quite mediocre so far. Pretty bad collision masks etc. This UI is one of the most excellent aspects so far enter image description here

Wow the bad collision masks and glitchiness really came out during the first boss. I beat it easily but ew. Clunky and glitchy.

And wow what a boring 2nd boss, I am excited about this Fire Technique tho. The world map is quite neat but I'm not sure if anything can bring this above a 3 star anyway, it seems quite short so I might still just finish it anyway >.> enter image description here

It was during this boss, yet another mediocre/unimaginative/frankly terrible boss, that I decided to be done. Really this should be a 2 star, but thanks to the good UI and world map, as well as it being a genre I like, it gets an arbitrary 3 star. Seems these Jajamaru games are quite run-of-the-mill.

Look: 7.5/10 The highlight of the game for sure, tho mostly just typical NES stuff.

Sound: 7/10 Just like the 89 RPG, some really bad tunes, but also some good jams.

Play: 7/10 If you like the first Zelda and wanted some more, you'll like this. Otherwise it feels quite bland, especially the bosses. The adventure game elements are good tho.

Feel: 7/10

Attachment: 7/10 Even less likely to return to this one than the RPG cuz the bosses are just so bland.

Overall: 7.1/10

Completion: I was on the boss of the "Temple" in the Second Map (the grave town's map)

Playtime: ~30 mins
