Super Mario "Jumpman" Mario has captured DK... Don-key Kong, and it's up to Donkey Kong's son Donkey Kong Jr to rescue him. It's a clever idea for a sequel -- make the previous protagonist be the antagonist ("You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain" -- Luigi).

I really like this one. The game seems to control a bit better than the original Donkey Kong, and overall I like the levels more too. The vine climbing mechanic is pretty great -- you climb up two vines to go up quickly, and climb down one vine to go down quickly. Gives the game a slight bit of strategy, deciding how many vines to work with (and which side of the vine to position yourself on) as you watch out for approaching enemies. Overall it's a pleasant little romp that works great for a quick score-attack at the arcade (virtual or otherwise).
