Preliminary: Hm so far it's like a better Pac Man because you can shoot enemies with power-ups lol. Cool that it keeps track of your time in a fun way, rather than annoying time limit way. And it has the Fantasy Zone imagery and music that I love from the arcade game. Still, odd lol. Hmmm and you seem to get money to buy power-ups like in the arcade game?

I love the Look and the Bonus Round music and Sound in general, but not sure if the Pac-Man style game will keep me going. I think I'm figuring out the extra stuff they added: don't necessarily just land on the power-ups they cost you money. Also, touching the Enemy's Energy spot seems to prevent more from spawning?

(It did not keep my interest ha. But an interesting take on Pac-Man gameplay, indeed)

Here is a weird game that I dig, even if it's nothing all that special. "Fantasy Zone the Maze" takes the little shmup ship that could (Opa Opa) and throws him into a game of Pac-Man. Each level is a new maze, and it's full of enemies that you can shoot down -- but for a price. Weaponry costs money, and you'll run out of money fast in this one. So it's a game of flying through the maze, and at any moment deciding if you'll keep going (and risk getting killed) or if you'll grab a nearby power-up so that you can clear out some of the enemies and perhaps finish up the current level. Of course, if you do grab a power-up, you'll have less money to spend later on...

This game is a fun one for co-op, but gets old pretty quick for single player. Fans of old quirky titles should check this one out, it's definitely got a unique feel to it.
