Preliminary: Wow this was for the Game Gear, which was a handheld console. Impressive, color console. Great music and an interesting take on the Roguelike formula. Would have been so cool to have this on a handheld back in 90/91. But roguelikes usually don't hold my interest due to their randomized/redundant-feeling format, we shall see with this one!

I'm already almost planning to move on, as good as it is for a handheled roguelike in 90/91 I still just am not that motivated like I was with Larn or earlier Roguelikes, but I did get to the second "floor"/area. Felt good to level up. And been identifying as many Rods/Books/Potions as I can (a technique learned from the earlier roguelikes :-p ) So far it doesn't seem as brutal as most roguelikes where you die over and over near the beginning, but I assume death and retries are expected. That's what makes a roguelike after all :-p
I got the Food Ring right away in the first area, and I am realizing that must have been really lucky!
I got to the third "floor" and decided it was time to move on. Decent jams, decent Look, definitely worth it if you like roguelikes, but personally I am moving on
