Amazing Arcade Action Hidden Gem that does everything right.

Holy Heck I randomly stumbled upon this little gem that I (and everyone else) never heard of. enter image description here
This game is cool for a few reasons. First it's just a fun and short (less than 30 minutes) co-op beat em up. enter image description here Second, this game is a mix of different genres and techniques of arcade games that all come together.. The way it uses video effects (Mode7) is like many racing games. It is essentially a multi-directional brawler that lets you freely attack opponents in 8 cardinal directions, and uses some interesting video effects to give one the perception of being on a hoverboard. A lot of the fighting is occurring at angles and has a sense of space and motion not found in other games. There are the occasional land-mine thingie or two to dodge (jumping over) and weapons and bonus items/hit point recharging food to collect. Game features digitized speech, has amusing art panel cut scenes, decent music/sound, fluid and intuitive gameplay and controls... Basically this game has it all and puts it all together perfectly, and it even does something that hasn't (I havent anyway) ever been seen before.
