Fire Shark (1989)

Fire Shark is a very mediocre Vertical scrollling shooter that has a lot of military-looking units that is reminiscent of 1942. The enemies look good at there are always a lot of them on the screen. Bullets mov very fast towards you and are very difficult to dodge. I really didnt like the way upgrades and picked up items worked. First, there are power ups that power up your weapon. after picking up three you get the next tier. but, if you die, you will lose your weapon and its upgrades.i never managed to stay alive long enough to see the upgrades for any of the other weapons but the default weapon (which is a spread shot that increases the spread) after about 10 levels or so, the game quietly resets to level one. I played for a while and thoughts 'hey this looks familiar...' In conclusion Fire Shark is an arcade game that tries every quarter stealing move in the book. a bad upgrade system. enemies spawning from every direction. undodgable bullets. and quietly loops upon completion.
