Good Horizontal Shoot Em Up, But Pales To Its Predecessor Scramble

Look: 7/10 I love the colors and the underwater look, and all the sprites are functional and good for '81. Nothing special, but also particularly good.

Sound: 7/10 Quite forgettable, but also not annoying which is good for '81 heh.

Play: 7/10 I like that there's no fuel aspect or other ways to distract you from the straight-up shoot 'em up gameplay. Definitely classic Scramble-esque horizontal scrolling shoot em up gameplay, and just as responsive and tight of controls (no criticism there). The radar/minimap seemed essentially useless? Unless I was just misunderstanding it. Really only special thing I can say is the no-fuel aspect... otherwise, might as well just play Scramble and finally get to the very end of it this time! Hmmm, maybe I need to play Scramble today haha.

Feel: 7/10 I stopped playing here, didn't play particularly long, even tho I still had 2 lives. Tho it was good, I had already played Scramble (plus it was released many months before this), which already filled this "niche" for me tbh. enter image description here

The great colors, classic gameplay (even if felt very derivative), and lack of fuel aspect make this a solid, quality arcade shoot em up.

Attachment: 7/10 I probly wont replay, but it certainly would be on my list if I have the Scramble urge but eventually tire of Scramble from replays or something. Otherwise... moving on.
