This game is a colour sequel of Sea Wolf. The Atari 2600-game "Submarine Commander" is a loose port of Sea Wolf II, and thus not to be confused with the 8-bit game of the same name.

"New and Improved" Indeed
This review is for the Arcade version

Look: 9/10 Ooooo, I see you Midway with those colors. Giving me Atari 2600 vibes on the arcade. I'm always a sucker for sunset colors graphics. enter image description here

Play: 7/10 Great additions to the original game, like the colors they picked and of course the addition of 2-player. Oh, and I liked the Super Subs that would occasionally spawn. Again, like the first one, I felt "pretty good" at it; and then I always remind myself there's no true enemies in it again lol. Maybe if I did competitive 2-player sometime! Attachment: 7/10 Welp, now, if I were to return to this era of arcade shooters, this one would actually probly trump the first one. I'd consider this the better one for sure. Both are worth playing at least once, though! It's a quick game.
