More Fun Than Earthworld, But The Excitement & Novelty Aren't As Fresh The 2nd Time

Look: 7/10 I first engaged with this game before having played the first Swordquest (Earthworld), and then I returned later. I really wanted to get a screenshot of the character running, because the graphic is magnificent ha, but I can't figure out how to screenshot while using directional pad. Sound: 8/10 Wow very musical this time. Every room seems to have its own absurd musical arrangement.

Play: 7/10 Really really really cool concept, tho I feel bad rating this without a proper copy of the comic book to accompany it (scratch that, see below in Feel). I was going to just do a status update and not rate this, but I can't pass up another early action-adventure, plus a puzzle I feel I can solve sans the comic/with online help! Let's do this.. I wanna play Earthworld because it seems Fireworld is a little less logical in its room. (Welp, now in context, turns out Fireworld is actually better for it. And the manual explained things better. I enjoyed this one more than Earthworld, but the novelty of the concept and "feel" of course wore off some.)

Feel: 9/10 Wow, I am so glad I pushed through in this series, even tho the first one was mediocre at best. When it came to the deeper, more thorough playthrough, thank goodness again for the information available here (including the comic book) and here. The help available at that yosemite sam site, namely the map, is invaluable.

Attachment: 8/10 Again, the fact I will be playing the sequel elevates this a bit, plus the newly unique sound arrangements justifies this higher rating.
