Very much worth getting Namco Museum Archives 2 (on sale) just for this. Bought the nes cartridge at a retro shop later, may try playing through that later.

Could be very good if jumping and block pushing controls were improved, player weapons and enemy battles more varied. Boss battles were non events. Fast travel or one way shortcuts when back tracking would help.

Explored freely for the first half, got most of the items, but then used game guides to find crowns.

Should have fought the Pochi boss first instead of last, it took several tries.

Really like the compact map concept.
