It is the sequel to Crazy Comets. The game involves repetitively shooting planets and moons as they grow in size and threaten to collide with the player's space ship. The game is noted for its Rob Hubbard music, fast paced action and 2 player co-op game play.

This is my update for Apocalypse 2 for SNES, which was never released and does not seem to be on this site. I made it to round 20 using slow motion 30 frames per second and save state scumming before I got bored and stopped. The only thing I liked about this game was the ability to rotate the ship in any direction. Other than that it was boring and repetitive. Gather power ups at the beginning of each round, try not to be at the screen edges just incase a fireball comes out of nowhere, and fighting the slippery controls to try and one hit kill planets before they fully appear. Because once they fully appear they can kill the ship instantly with contact damage while taking up a lot of the screen and moving absurdly fast. It was extremely difficult to survive with multiple full planets bouncing around so the best thing seemed to be using the shield and missiles to burn them down asap. That was the entire game. No proper levels, changing tactics or enemy variety. I have no idea how many rounds the game goes to or even if there is an end, and don't care to find out.
