A fanatical sect has changed mankind's future by summoning a previously extinct primeval entity in our past. You, a sole survivor of the once elite 'time corps' have been chosen by the federation of law and order to combat the entity in three time zones: Ancient Greece, Dark Ages and Space. The game, controlled by joystick, has you moving the time warrior in horizontal-scrolling parallax levels. You have to collect nine pieces that assemble to a face of the primeval entity who must be battled. Meanwhile, the locals in each time zone do not like time warriors and throw and fire everything at you. Luckily, you are carrying an energy conversion kit that changes some shot objects and enemies into valuable weapons and armoury. Good luck, you will need it! Read less

Passable, But Not Terrible. Too Difficult & Chaotic For My Taste

Right off the bat I was of course enthralled by the amazing music. And the background was great. But it got repetitive over time in the first level. I'm at the first boss, I wish there were more info about the game, controls, mechanics, and levels online. (Welp, just found info there are only 3 levels, seems attainable, even if it is too hard and Imma have to abuse savestates) And nice I found the manual... tho parts of the UI were still unclear (albeit cool-looking overall)

Look: 7/10 Good backgrounds, good UI, decent sprites overall. Got repetitive and nothing particularly great tho. Bosses kinda lame.

Sound: 8/10 Main thing keeping me going/retrying.

Play: 6/10 Very forgiving collision masks, I can attack while colliding and it still counts as a hit, but I did eventually have to turn on Trainer elements. I was having fun but not enough to warrant the difficulty. It wasn't at first clear what the different weapons did but the 2nd one, which appears as an arrow, was the one I wanted from the get-go so I was happy when I got that. (Boo that can only have one out at a time) I'm always a fan when you can destroy enemy projectiles which seeeeeeemed to be the case here.

Feel: 7/10 Quite quickly I was on the third level, supposedly the last. I like that the weapon you're on doesn't wear out over time and doesn't go away between levels. I like the progression of time, as it says between levels "Time Flies," to the sci-fi final level. I donnnn't like the petty spawning of enemies and constant onslaught.

Attachment: 6/10 Welp, I've beat the game, and still no clue what most of the power-up/weapons even did when I activated them.... And there's no info in the manual except how to fly (which PS you need for the last level). Super lame that it's always that same boss after collecting the pieces. (Oh, well I guess I did piece together that last one where it has bullets flying around you to protect you a bit).

Without Trainers (aka cheats), I barely made it halfway through the 2nd level lol. Just too poorly programmed/C64-y for such a clustered action game. Cool idea and surprisingly fun, but certainly passable... except to see that image above heh.

Completion: Beat the game with Trainers, half way through Level 2 without Trainers Playtime: ~20 mins
