It's nothing extraordinary in gameplay terms, just another platformer where you complete objectives and get an item in return that let's you progress in the game, and there are different weapons depending on the level you are that gives some variety, but for me it was very fun. It's biggest flaw, is that all the bosses are the same and the game turns in some kind of a vehicle fight where you drive a pig with a very weird and difficult movement that you need time to get adjusted, they are kinda hard but not impossible. The previous games are vastly superior, yes, but i think this game came out all right and it's one of the good examples of the time of 2D games turning 3D. It really is sad that this franchise is dead. Also at this point i think that i'm a sucker for these kind of 3D platforms, so maybe that's why i enjoyed it so much
