A piece of history
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

It is, without a doubt, not great. Feature slim, there's very little to offer a modern audience other than its historical significance. It's not fun, it's hard, and it's far from engaging. As a game, I do not recommend. As a piece of gaming history? It's pretty cool. It's the prelude to one of the most influential RPG series ever, Ultima, which I still have yet to play.

Verdict: don't.

I realize that this game is two years older than me, but even as someone who played games from around this era, this one is really tough to play for a modern audience. Completely inscrutable and brutally hard.

Got a fancy new gaming computer all set up and the first thing I do is play a 43 year old game that isn't good, but is historically significant. I'll make my way to Cyberpunk 2.0 eventually!
