The lightsaber feels wonderful, the force powers are equally great, and the enemies are often the right mix of competent and vulnerable where you feel like a god mowing them down. There aren't a ton of lightsaber vs. lightsaber fights, but the encounters that are there are all wonderful - tense, chaotic, and super deadly.
There's a fairly robust FPS shooter here as well with tons of weapons, alternate firing modes, and so on, but I didn't engage with any of it after getting my lightsaber.
I also really enjoyed the suite of force powers. You get options from both sides of the force meaning you can heal, shoot lightning, choke people, and mind trick them. There are a few instances of using force powers to solve puzzles and while I appreciate their inclusion I didn't really find them all that clever... but at least they're fun in combat!
The difficulty is all over the place and feels especially uneven in the beginning and end. It's not even a per-level situation, there will just be rooms that are 100x harder than everything that came before it, while other rooms are complete snoozefests with no risk of death or even resource depletion. You'll want to quick save very, very frequently - sometimes in the middle of fights.
There's a similar situation going on with the level design - it's a mess. At least 25% of your playtime will be spent trying to interpret the specific series of actions the designers want you to perform. Maybe there's an out of place vent, maybe you need to use your powers in a way you haven't been asked to before, maybe you need to backtrack to trigger a cutscene for some reason. Whatever the case, far too much time is spent wandering blind than playing the game.
One last complaint - the story is bland as oatmeal. I saw a lot of praise for the story prior to playing it, but I can only assume this is because even a serviceable story in the Star Wars EU is a rarity. Do not play this game for the story.
