I guerrieri sith

Everything I want to say about this game has probably already been said. The major flaw of this game is the bugs, but I can look past it since the game came out in 2005. First, the gameplay is not the goat but it still makes for a fun and challenging time. There are tons of options for play style and customization. From the weapons, armor, force powers, dialogue, skill points, you get to decide how you upgrade and use them. Next, the worlds you get to play on are each so unique and fun to explore. Each world has it's own lore history which makes it easy to take your time on each planet and learn more about it. Lastly, the best part of the game is the story it tells and the themes it reveals to the player. This is a story not about light and dark but rather a morally grey story. It introduces themes of forgiveness, obsession, and letting go (I'm sure there are more). The Sith Lords was truly ahead of its time for story-telling in video games, and makes it easily one of the greatest PC RPGs of all-time.

Lots of great moments, but far too many times asked myself some form oh "uhh... what?"

It's an undeniably good and novel game - both as a Star Wars game and as a WRPG. However, like a lot of games of its era the things that make it unique are also the things that grate on you as the game goes on.

It's an undeniably good and novel game - both as a Star Wars game and as a WRPG. However, like a lot of games of its era the things that make it unique are also the things that grate on you as the game goes on.

I love that party members have much more autonomy and reactivity, but I hated all the parts I had to control a party member that I had zero interest (or gear, or levels) in. I loved that conversations could often lead to permanent stat increases, feats, and influence - a genuine reward for roleplaying! I hated how little these were signposted, and the dialogue system in general frequently had me running in loops trying to find the "correct" sequence to advance the conversation

I loved being able to flourish my lightsabers. I loved all the voice acting. I loved all the comedy moments - every single one of them tickled me just right.

But there were so many small issues that kept snowballing as the game went on that by the end I was just ready for the whole thing to be over with. This is with the restoration patch - I can't even imagine what this end sequence would look like with even less budget.
