This is a good game to get some back story on the events between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope. It's also fun to play the bad guy. The story is good, but it's too short. 10 levels just isn't enough for the mainline story, ALTHOUGH I was happy to be done. It's a bit repetitive and too …

This is a good game to get some back story on the events between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope. It's also fun to play the bad guy. The story is good, but it's too short. 10 levels just isn't enough for the mainline story, ALTHOUGH I was happy to be done. It's a bit repetitive and too much is thrown at you too quickly. I found myself only using about 6 or 7 abilities, because they were effective enough.

I get it, this is old. It's not a current, top-tier game. But I do feel like they were starting to figure it out at the time of this release, and with the sequel as well. I'm very HOPEFUL for the new Star Wars game coming out late this year. Please give us this game, with better combat, a more immersive story, and a longer game overall. (AND PLEASE EA, PLEASE, DON'T PUT IN MICROTRANSATIONS). Sorry, I know this isn't EA's game... but it's still Star Wars. And I want good Star Wars content LIKE THIS in the future.

Bought this game on sale on xbox marketplace after playing the demo. Beat on sith lord difficulty (Hard), though I probably should have played on a lower difficulty given how much frustration there was (though there were good times too). The controls/camera (not just for this game, but for 3rd person hack and slash in general) are a large part of the problem and I feel I would have done much better from a 1st person perspective with standard FPS controls. There were many times when I said to myself "Damn, I wish I had a blaster, or grenades".

I had to get help online for about half of the bosses, and then beat the others on the 1st or 2nd try (usually while barely alive myself). Most of the reason for that is some bosses were gimmicky and immune to certain powers. For regular enemies, I most often camped out behind cover and tried to snipe with thrown objects or hit and run with lightning. For bosses and that I could not cheaply kill with objects and lighting, I jump/dashed behind them and mashed X and Y for a random string of normal lightsaber attacks, lighting and lighting imbued lightsaber combos, which worked pretty well. I also used lighting shield fairly often just before a melee. I also beat all the combat training, which had more difficult combat than the real combat!

I focused my level ups on defense, health, mana, melee damage, lighting, force grip and lighting shield. For most of the game, I alternated my crystal between deflection and damage, though at the end I used life drain (though I have no idea how much that helped).

Not interested in sith master difficulty, and will most likely never play this again.
