Finished up the single player campaign and had an absolute blast with it. Unlikely I'll go back to play any more of the multiplayer but re-playing the game has made me excited to pick up a copy of Splatoon 2 to play. I can finally take this game off the backlog.

Here's my contribution to the final Splatfest. I was gonna try to get King rank, as I hadn't done that before, but I didn't realize that the Splatfest ended this morning. I really hope Nintendo updates Splatoon with some sort of replacement for Splatfests, because I really enjoyed being a part of them.

It sucks that Splatfests are ending. Now there's no reason for casual players like me to continue playing Splatoon.

Splatoon is ridiculously fun but I am definitely very late to the party. Only at level 8 while playing against a ton of level 40s or higher. Still managing to hold my own.

I was thinking about picking this up, but it appears that the local multiplayer is severely limited. Does anyone have any experience with Splatoon? While I enjoy online games, the Wii U is basically our local multiplayer/local co-op machine, so getting something that won't allow couch co-op is probably not on the books. Is the local multiplayer robust enough?
