In the future, humans have left Earth and settled throughout the galaxy. On Mars, the Union Aerospace Corporation has established a radioactive waste facility and allowed the military to conduct teleportation experiments on the nearby moons of Deimos and Phobos. Played the shareware PC version back in the 90s EXTENSIVELY. I ended up getting the Ultimate Doom version on CD later on.

Beat the SNES version on an emulator on my PSP on ultra violence. The emulator could barely manage the game, getting an average of 12 frames per second. Needless to say, it was a mind numbing slow motion slog. Controls were not good compared to PC; I found turning to be way too slow and awkward, while strafing was not only awkward but imprecise. I frequently got stuck on walls and overall felt like the guy was drunk. Still it was enough of a different experience from the PC version to be worth playing. Having to cycle through the weapons instead of just pressing a number key made it important to have the right weapons selected before a fight. Still found the game to be too easy because of the over abundance of ammo. Used the shotgun most of the time. Sucks that some levels were cut and that graphics were overall of poorer quality.

9.0/10 for SNES 9.5+ for PC

Here in NAZIS V2 + Epic 2 enter image description herewe have lots of crazy particles and bullet fragment effects that look amazing. The weapons are all fast firing and very loud, this gives it a frantic feel. The game is crazy hard, and actually impossible! enter image description here The neat thing is as you go through these ancient egypt maps and feel like indiana jones back to the good old days of most simple joy in life: KILLING NAZIS (politically incorrect) you experience what feels like a true ID hodge podge of doom and wolf in the best way. Had suprisingly apt music, and really good 'level' design (better than original!) but it was a bit long, and just way too hard. A few maps bugged on some switches in GZDoom.

finally checking this stinker out. Ouch!

Great music though. Possibly best demo of SNES to 'port' music? The controls are awful and do not feel right to any seasoned doomer.
