not only will DOOM Eternal feature the top-tier Nightmare difficulty, but also a level above even that. This mode takes even the brutal difficulty of Nightmare and adds roguelike elements to it, the most prominent of which is that you only have one life for the whole mode.
I must admit, I'm kinda interested in this. Well, looks like maybe iD Software might finally release their first non-garbage game since Doom 2. 😏

Delayed until next year!
But I'm not shedding a tear. Saves them crunch and there's too much to play this year anyway. Disco Elysium is out in less than a week's time and I suspect I could play that alone until the year is done!
Also, DOOM 64 is a great preorder bonus!
