Great Game Bogged Down by Repetition and Bland Story
HoMM 3 is an amazing game, and developing characters while learning the ins and outs of each faction is really fun.
Heroes Chronicles takes the core game, but gives you an overarching story throughout each chronicle, with each one encapsulating Tarnum's experiences with one story arc.

HoMM 3 is an amazing game, and developing characters while learning the ins and outs of each faction is really fun.
Heroes Chronicles takes the core game, but gives you an overarching story throughout each chronicle, with each one encapsulating Tarnum's experiences with one story arc.
The concept should work; however, some bland and downright poor level design, combined with the boring repetition of playing the same faction for 8 maps straight, and a mediocre story, made playing this a chore.
4 missions in and I have decided to stop.
I remember the storylines and quests from the core game being better, if you are looking for a good single player HoMM 3 experience, this isn't it :/.
