My first time through I didn't get a chance to play the free dlc added post release. I was pleasantly surprised at how robust it is. While not quite doubling the content I would say it adds a post game a little over half the density of the main game in story and boss fights. This was a complete game and they in no way had to do this. Its just a nice bonus to spend a decent amount of more time in this world. It doesn't innovate at all, just adds more of the same. If you've been enjoying the writing and combat and you're not bored of it, it'll keep you entertained. Of you wanted it to evolve in the post game somehow, it didn't. That's not a bad thing. It knows what it is and it keeps to that path with no dip in quality

Been replaying this recently after 5 years. I forgot how much I adore the art style and how comfortable the gameplay is. I remember having fun with it but I think I was kind of harsh in my review. At a time when I'm running out of games that really feel worthwhile, this is still an experience I don't regret returning to again. Probably play the second one now that I'm in the mood again

How difficult is this game for those who've played it? There's a great deal on Steam right now but I don't want to buy a game I'll never manage to play.

A free DLC came out today unexpectedly! There is a new main quest with a new species - squirrels and a lot of other stuff. I only played for an hour doing only side quests in old locations and those missions didn't end, wonder how big a storyline with squirrels will be.

Mannn i really loved this game.. yeah its easier than dark souls.. but it has a really good story and world they have built , the art is great , the map is very clear and comfortable , there are tons of different pieces of equipment to try..

Doug cockle as a narrator is a big plus as well.
