You are a museum owner pursuing an undead pirate who kidnapped your daughter. You quickly realize that the villain is entangled in a tragic, centuries-old love story, and wants to resurrect his mistress with the girl’s life force. You feel sorry for the pirate, but you have to stop him before it is too late for your daughter… You will leave the modern museum quickly, and find your way to rundown pirate settings, all of them three centuries old. Since the time of the golden age of piracy, the locations have become neglected, deserted and overgrown with plants. Full moon, bones laying on the ground, and a skull-shaped rock add to the dark atmosphere of the mysterious island. What tragic events took place on the island before your arrival? What evil powers can make an old, rotting ship sail? Is the horrifying, undead pirate really as evil as he seems? Read less

A pretty standard hidden object puzzle adventure game and pretty competent at what it wants to do.

The story is not too original. A cursed pirate kidnapping young girl in order to make her his bride - or to be more specific make his loved one ghost posses the girl so they can be happy in love. Full of cliches that come along with an undead zombie pirate. Nothing you haven't seen in Pirates of the Carribean or any similiar thing.

But for what's it worth it's at least consistent and while very predictable it's at least a little interesting.

As for the grunt works. Locations are themed well and interesting for the most part. Puzzles and hidden objects sections are interesting and cool.

The quality is a typical Artifex Mundi quality - which means very good. Visuals are very good, locations well detailed, sound work on the right level. Everything in order.

Not thrilling but a competent HOPA game and if you're into ghost pirate theme well worth picking up.

Fantastic

I bought this from Big Fish Games, and I loved it, went and bought it before the demo was finished. The graphics are great, nice and clear. The hidden objects were not hard to see, but not so easy it was not fun. The music I found annoying, but it can be turned off.
