Started playing this game. It's pretty fun and still holds up today. Mostly. The one problem I have is the camera control, because there is no camera control. Doesn't mean I won't play! I used the "EEL NATS" cheat code, so I have unlocked everything, but the only thing I'm using is the Spider-Man 2099 costume.

I played Spider-Man 2 and 3 on PC but this one is the best. Smooth character control, good story, good music etc. It has a comic-book theme that is great.

I just realized that Spider-man in this game is Suspected in a robbery, and have to prove himself, and that there was an Imposter spider-man who stolen Doc Ock's invention.

Sometimes.... I hate the internet

I liked the boss fights in the game although it made no sense how Venom could phase out since that's not one of his powers. The camera wasn't good and the outdoors are filled with fog to hide the short draw distance. You swing by shooting your webs into the empty sky. Climbing on walls indoors was something that wasn't well handled by the camera. The fighting is simplistic but at the time I thought the game did a reasonably good job of capturing the feeling of being Spider-Man. There were also hidden comic books you could look for in levels. That last level where Spidey has to escape a Carnage bonded Doc Ock was certainly one of the most intense final levels I've played. This game likely hasn't aged well but I remember having fun with it.
