Second proper playthrough begins! Going through this game, this time with ziggys mod will be a treat.

Plot seems okay, and the world is supposed to be open-world, but quickly devolves into highly repetitive game play. Very little humor, no interesting characters, and I was not impressed by the graphics - which seemed high contrast and were never awe-inspiring.

I made it to the part where you fly through a canyon between mountains to access the other half of the game, but became bored and quit.

I nominate Far Cry 3 as Grouvee game of the Month (GGOtM) cause it's what people seem to be posting about lately. (Torgo is a bit quiet lately so Dark Souls is taking a step back)

Just completed Far Cry 3, and I definitely enjoyed it quite a bit. It does best when it gives the player free reign to wander the world and take on enemies anyway they see fit. It is at its absolute worst when it forces quicktime events on you to convey dramatic story events and gates progress on completing them correctly. Dear god I hated those so much. I would have preferred the option of just watching a cutscene.

I've made it through about 4 or 5 hours now, and I'm still having a bunch of fun. There's a ton to do in the open world, and it looks absolutely gorgeous on my PC.

I've heard it kind of falls apart later in the game, but I'll worry about that when I get there.

I've played about 2 or 3 hours of this game, and so far I'm having a ton of fun.
