I'm gonna be honest even though a lot of people might not agree, but I think this game is garbage. The AI is either dumb or superhuman, they spot you a mile away and are basically like aim bots, they snipe you, shoot rockets at you miles away without a problem, even worse, they can shoot you through tent walls, it's like they can see excatly where you are behind that canvas. The game is difficult only because of bad level design and Triads, Triads are these monsters that show up about halfway through the game, they are absolute bullet sponges and deal massive damage, they completely ruin the game. The level design is good in open areas but in closed areas it's working against you, you have to cheese through the corridor levels, they put you in a spot where you barely have any cover and everyone starts destroying you. There is a part of the game where you are in this small corridor and the Triad with a rocket launcher shows up, well good luck son because this dude is shooting rockets without mercy, you can throw 6 grenades at him and shoot 2 clips in him but he will keep going, even worse he walks towards you the whole time closing the space where you can even move. All in all, the shooting is fun I have to say and the ragdoll effect even though wacky sometimes is very satisfying, and the graphics are really good so I understand why this game is so revolutionary with the open level design, only reason this gets 2 stars.
