Is it just me or is Far Cry 5 just really boring?

It feels super empty and aimless without the towers or automatically generated map icons. All that’s left is the story/characters (which so far have been as bland as a Far Cry ever offered) and the charm of the setting (which is in short supply here).

I just finished the game. The endings are horrible, they amplify all the things wrong with the plot. Tone-deaf AF.

I just hope that Far Cry 6 to be good. I'm a big fan of 3 and absolutely HATE where this franchise went.
